Organised in conjuction with the Duan Wu Festival, this is Chinese tradition has evolved throughout the years into one of the main sporting events in Sabah. Watch in excitement as local and international teams beat their drums and synchronize their paddling, while racing for the finish line.
Local Malaysian teams participatde in the Sabah Chief Minister Trophy and the Kinabalu Dragon Trophy (Junior Team) 20 years old and under. Besides this, there is also a special category for the Kota Kinabalu Chinese Community Associations, under the FCAS Trophy.
